I can't imagine that my DH would pee on the potty either, and have no suggestions, my 2 eldest TT themselves before they were 2! Lucy was fully TT by 15mths, Sam at 23 months.... will be interesting to see what Jackson does _________________ Mumma to 3 gorgeous kidlets

This is coming from a mum who doesn't have a fully toilet trained child yet....
We don't really 'train' DD yet, just talk to her about what we do as such. The term 'potty' bugged me as I knew it wouldn't mean anything to DD. We just say 'Your toilet' or 'L's toilet' & she has always understood that if she wees or poos on there then she is 'just like Mummy & Daddy'. She doesn't feel there is anything bad about her peeing in her nappy (or on the floor ) but she is still proud of herself when she does decide to use the 'potty'.
It's just a terminology thing but it might be worth a shot.
